Chidima Anekwe is a Nigerian-American writer. Her work has been twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize and was awarded the 2025 Plentitudes Prize in Fiction. She has received scholarships and recognition from the GrubStreet Center, the Tucson Festival of Books, and The Masters Review. She is interested in narratives that deal with female otherness, sociocultural deviance, and afrocentric experiences of alienation. She holds a BA in English Literature from Yale University, and is a fiction editor for Decolonial Passage.
